Ways of Seeing
is an advanced, webinar-based training program that equips professionals to integrate movement, attachment, and emotional development into their clinical and educational work with infants, children, and families.
This methodology originated with Dr. Tortora's work with caregivers and infants.
Our early experience informs who we become.
When you complete the Ways of Seeing training program, you help people understand the role that Dance Therapy, Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health, and Nonverbal Movement Analysis play in all of our ways of being. It is also a methodology that encourages you to take the whole body into consideration, including your own body.
The body, the mind, and the emotions are all a continuum. That's at the core of the training program. We are all these interrelated, feeling, thinking bodies.
This Unique Program Equips You To:
✔ Master nonverbal communication and understand the expressiveness of infants, children, and families
✔ Sharpen observation skills to notice subtle cues in individual and group interactions
✔ Apply nonverbal assessment tools designed for clinical and educational settings
✔ Integrate principles of movement, attachment, and emotional development
✔ Work with diverse populations across cultures and developmental stages
In this international program, you’re connecting with a community all around the world of people who have trained with Dr. Tortora, creating lasting professional relationships and ongoing support.
