Caregiver and Me: Movement and Music

This playful group helps little ones (1-2 years old) explore emotions through movement, music, and stories, while strengthening connection with their caregivers.

Blending early childhood development and dance/movement therapy, each class supports both physical coordination and emotional intelligence. Sessions include opportunities for bonding, creative exploration, and take-home strategies for caregivers.

Children will:

• Develop motor skills such as balance, rhythm, and coordination

• Strengthen language through songs, books, and storytelling

• Experience co-regulation with a caregiver in moments of big feelings

Caregivers will:

• Learn movement-based strategies to support children’s emotional expression and regulation

• Take home simple tools using music, movement, and books to encourage healthy emotional growth

• Build a playful, supportive connection with their child

• Ages 1-2 years Thursdays @ 11-11:50am, beginning February 12, 2026-April 30, 2026
