Course Description

This workshop will discuss evidence-based research methods using dance/ movement therapy; assessment tools to vest understand the complexities in providing psychosocial support; and intervention methods using mind-body approaches including dance/ movement therapy as trauma-preventative methods to best support patients and the whole family system. The use of handouts will be provided in an upcoming book by Tortora and Karen about this topic will be explored through experiential provided in the workshop.
