Dance/Movement Psychotherapy with Infants, Young Children and Their Families. (Warsaw, Poland)

Workshop with Dr. Suzi Tortora

The focus of Introduction to the Ways of Seeing Program, a specialized training lead and developed by Suzi Tortora will sensitize the participants to the ways young children communicate, learn and express themselves through their movement and senses. Dr. Tortora’s Ways of Seeing dance movement psychotherapy program uses the language of movement and the senses as an entryway into the young child’s world, to connect to children, stimulating their social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development, and improving their quality of life. Through lecture, video, worksheets and experiential participation workshop participants will explore nonverbal cues expressed by infants and young children and experience dance/movement activities that support early attachment relationships and social, emotional, and cognitive development.
