In these sessions the participants find their own inner dance through
a profoundly simple process of movement and stillness. This is a type
of meditation through movement that occurs by listening to your body.
Wtih eyes closed, the dance begins when you are moved by your body, rather
than choosing the movements your body will make. This process is done
in dyads or groups with one or several members of the group acting as
witnesses who observe and silently contain the experience for the mover
so the mover can be seen, heard and felt. After each dance the mover and
witness exchange their experiences through word, writing or art. |
